…Or at least that’s the best excuse we could think of for why it hasn’t been blogging. So, we’re back and going to try and be a little more consistent with our blogging efforts.

Our computer went down last night and has been giving us technical problems since. Andy, the resident techie, has tried to spin his magic on it and so far with not a lot of success. Oye! Anyway, here’s some photos from a shoot we did at a nursery last fall. You’ll have to ask Andy what type of plants these are because I can hardly remember!

I think these are leaves of a Japanese Maple tree.

So after Thanksgiving, me and Elisha hit up the slopes (see previous post) and then toodled over to my parent’s home in Sunriver. We had a blast hanging out with both of our families, and of course, we had to document the occasion.

Why? Because snowboarding season is here!! Oh yeah! Elisha and I took our first trip up to the mountain yesterday, the opening day at Mount Hood Meadows. The lines were long, but it was sunny and a chance to get back on the mountain! We brought the camera and found some time to use it – in between shredding the gnar gnar, that is.

As I sat at my desk this morning, I felt a sudden urge to run out into the crisp air on this fine fall morning and snap a few photos. Being camera-less (gasp!) I borrowed one of the University’s rental Canon XTi’s and kit lenses (sigh for 5D and 17-40 f/4L) and went at it. Here’s a few:

To anyone who has been reading this blog (if there’s anyone left) I’m sorry about the recent lack of posts. Wedding season just ended, school just started, and life has been a little crazy! However, commitment has been renewed – more images for all! After a stressful week, Elisha and I have headed off to my parent’s vacation home for a little time for just us…no jobs, no things “we have to do” and just some peace! So we packed all our gear up in our little rental Nissan Versa (which is actually a pretty neat little vehicle) and cruised out of town. Somewhere outside of Sisters, I got a hankerin’ do to some night photography, so we pulled off at a little viewpoint and took a few! Of course, I forgot the tripod, and it was about 30* outside, so we didn’t get too many, but here are my two offerings

Yesterday we took a little family trip to Liepold Farms on the hunt for pumpkins! It was massively busy and undoubtedly the largest pumpkin operation I’ve ever seen – but we still had a great time and got to take some pictures on the way! Hurrah!

We went to church with my parents this Sunday at Hillside Christian Fellowship in Clackamas (http://www.hillsidechristianfellowship.com). The people were soo nice and we were so happy to see a few familiar faces in the crowd! After the service, we all meandered to the park behind Sunnyside Elementary for some good ‘ole BBQ grub and a rowdy game of touch football. Here’s a few pics from the game.
